Cookies

The Game Lantern sets no cookies of any kind — not functional, not preference, not analytical, not advertising. There is no consent banner on this site because there is nothing to consent to. If you inspect storage in your browser after visiting any page here, you will find it empty.

Analytics and measurement

We run no analytics. There is no measurement platform, no tag manager, no page-view counter, no heatmap tool, no session recording and no conversion tracking on any page of this site. We genuinely do not know how many people read these walkthroughs, and we have decided that is an acceptable price for not following anyone around.

Third-party content

Every page here is self-contained. The stylesheet and the small lantern icon are served from this site, the typefaces are whichever ones your device already has installed, and there are no embedded videos, no social widgets, no comment systems, no advertising scripts and no external images. Nothing on this site causes your browser to contact any other company.

• No embedded frames of any kind.
• No advertising network, no affiliate scripts, no retargeting pixels.
• No scripts at all, first-party or otherwise. These pages are plain documents.

Server logs

Like any website, this one runs on a web server, and that server keeps standard access logs — the requested address, a timestamp, the browser's user-agent string, and the requesting IP address. These logs exist so the site can be kept running and abuse can be diagnosed. They are not linked to any individual, are not shared with anyone, are not used for advertising or profiling, and are discarded on a rolling basis after thirty days.

Email you send us

If you write to one of the addresses on the contact page, we hold your message and your email address for as long as it takes to deal with it, plus a reasonable period afterwards in case the same question comes back. Correspondence is not added to any mailing list, is never sold or shared, and is deleted on request. There is no newsletter on this site and no subscription of any kind.

Children

These walkthroughs are written for general audiences and describe free-to-play arcade and puzzle games. Because the site collects nothing, holds nothing and asks for nothing, it does not knowingly gather personal information from anyone, of any age.

Your rights

Since we hold no data about visitors, there is normally nothing for us to disclose, correct or erase. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, write to [email protected] and it will be deleted, with confirmation once it is done.

Changes to this statement

If this ever changes — if, for instance, the site were to add anything that required a script — the change would be described plainly here and the date at the top of this page would move. We will not quietly add measurement to a site whose privacy page says there is none.
